Our Mission is Simple
The West Somerville Neighborhood School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is here to support the learning and development of our students by creating a vibrant, welcoming and fun community of parents, guardians, teachers and staff.
We Support WSNS TeachersThe WSNS PTA helps teachers plan field trips and in-school events, provides funding for in- and out-of-the-classroom enrichments and supplies our classrooms with materials our teachers request, such as Scholastic News and Scholastic Science magazines.

We Support WSNS FamiliesThe WSNS PTA hosts events throughout the year to celebrate the WSNS community. Ice cream socials, movie nights and school spirit days--we have those! The WSNS PTA is also proud to administer the WSNS Emergency Fund to help families in times of crisis.

How We Do It
MembershipThe number one way to support the PTA is to become a PTA member. Membership is free, and each member must sign up every year. We welcome your membership at any time during the school year. As a member you will receive WSNS PTA updates and learn about opportunities to contribute. Learn more.

DonationsWe hold one fundraiser a year, but we welcome donations at any time. Through our donation page or by check, you can donate to the General PTA Fund (supports our classrooms and pays for school-wide events and assemblies), our Membership Fund (we do not require dues to become a member of the WSNS PTA, but we still owe $4.50/member to the MA PTA) or the WSNS Emergency Fund.
